I use the RS (analog) for pitching, hitting, throwing and sending my men on baserunning. I don't use the face buttons (classic). BTW, I'm on a 360 controller as well. If you've played the demo, I'll say you'll be happier with the retail. It feels a bit tighter, control wise. I played MVP to death and I like this game better. It needs a little polish, but it's well worth $30 IMO....

This game looks good. Last year it looked great so no surprise there. Patch support is what I'm really worried about.

Sarcasm: Ronnie just posted on Twitter saying the patch will be out right before Christmas... it's being tested as we speak.

I hope there's a demo (like there was for 2k9) so I can see how well it will run on my system. Last year, they released the PC demo on release day. No demo yet - I wonder if this means there won't be a PC demo this year.

I'm not that worried about patch support if there aren't any game-killing bugs that haven't been found yet. I can live without check swings and I think the outfielder rocket arms can be addressed in roster updates (or roster mods).

We got dirty uniforms and they stayed dirty all game. Playing the game on 1920x1080, it's beautiful. I'm glad i went ahead and got the game. So worth 29.99, and with the upcoming patches it'll look unreal. I just wish there was a way we could put our own music in game situations like the show.

Totally agree. The graphics run so much smoother than NBA2k on my system. Only thing it did on setup was made the crowd "medium." Everything else maxed out. MSAA is off, but AF is on. Looks really good and plays smooth. I'm even able to run FRAPS in the background and get a solid 30FPS capture. I've not really seen any gameplay issues that make me say "huh?" yet. Not even the "rocket arms." I'm thinking this well worth 30 bucks. And mods to come? Heck, yeah....

Hah, that may seem minor to some people, but that's a big deal to me and I'm glad to read it's in effect this year on the PC version.

Weird. This press release says the PC version won't be out until March 9. Maybe they are referring to Direct Download/Steam version?

What a difference a second at bat makes. Homer just got ripped by Soriano. Ouch.... I'm really liking this game!

Wow..no cut off throw there? Not too many center fielders can throw a ball from dead center to 3rd base (i dont think any can actually) w/o cut off.

That was my fault. So was the pitch. I wouldn't read too much into it. I maxed the meter out. I thought I could get him at 3rd! I really haven't seen any real big CPU AI errors. Just me. But Homer did run to back up 3rd, albeit slower than I would have liked. So far I haven't seen any of the annoying across the body instead of turning throws that looked so awkward. The OF's turn and gun realistically. But arm strength could be tweaked. They are a bit strong armed. But it's nothing like the demo. That bit of waay too much arm instead of throwing to the proper man was all me. Worst case, it should have been way offline.

Am starting to notice the CPU is free swinging, as usual. Trying to work the pitches around the zone, to see how much they'll bite.
