Ok that title was only to capture you guys attention. Anyway, I really am confused! Please answer me ... can you switch teams in Franchise mode like in previous MLB 2K games and like in Basketball where you can 'resign GM position'? I've simmed through and played through 2 Cubs seasons where we lost both times in the Wild Card playoff and now, I quit lol. Would like to go somewhere else, but within this same franchise. Is it possible?

c'mon dude, you should have known the you were not going to win the world series with the cubbies.

2k does not allow anyone who chooses the cubs to change their franchise. it is part of the curse.
