Still early, but Liriano has been lights-out so far through 3 appearances.

Well we played a lot better in the Oakland series. Pitching was a little better and our hitting was much improved over the Cleveland series. I just hope it carries over to the Yankees series!

Re: Minnesota Twins 2006 Discussion

Baker tore through the Yanks tonight. Only 4 baserunners allowed in 7 innings on 91 pitches I believe. Rincon and Crain were solid out of the pen, and the offense put together a couple good innings. Solid win all-around.

Yanks did get hosed on a play at the plate, it wasn't even close. I don't think Mauer's glove got within a foot of tagging Posada out.

Great fun game to watch as a fan of baseball tonight. Tough as a Twins fan but we did come back to win against Mo which was great since the only team I hate more than the Yankees is the White Sox. Mauer and Morneau came up clutch and Liriano looked pretty good again tonight. Rondell White has got to go though, he is playing terrible.

I hear that. He's hitting the way I expected Batista to be hitting. I know Gardy doesn't like messing with the lineup, but he really needs to get him out of the 4 spot.

Well today will be Rondell White's last shot to prove what he can do. The Twins are suppose to call up Ruben Sierra and send down Jason Kubel. So I'm guessing that Sierra will be the DH and will spilt time with White.

I didn't get today's game for some reason, but it sounds like Radke struggled. I think on ESPNEWS it showed that the Yankees hit 3 or 4 homeruns.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2006 Discussion

Yeah, the Yanks really smacked the ball around today. 4 HR's, along with 4 doubles, 17 total hits. White stunk up the joint something fierce (yet again), going 0-4 with 3 K's.
