Mine freezes when I go to Free Agents as well, but it only freezes if I'm controlling all 30 teams.

mine works finally; delete all the rosters you have saved; go into the roster vault and download his rosters; quit the game by holding the PS button; start the game again and start a franchise/season with his rosters; tada the free agents works again

forgive me for not really understanding this- if we download these rosters - when we start a new franchise with them, as long as we control all teams - once we sim spring training the rosters and lineups won't be all jacked up? is this right?

yes. control all teams and sim spring. its really neat.

I downloaded the file last night and started a Franchise. I found that you have to do Franchise and not Season; since the 40-man rosters only have 25 players per team, in Season Mode you only have 25 players on your team and everyone else is a free agent.

Anyhow, I went ahead a simmed through Sprint Training (with injuries turned off for the sim) and started the Regular Season. Lineups were perfect. Before playing any games, I went through every AAA team and added 15 players to the 40-man roster (top 8 pitchers and top 7 position players, including at least 1 catcher). It took 20 minutes tops.

So now if the CPU has an injury on their MLB squad, they can call someone up from AAA, and everyone's also set for September Callups.

So I've officially started my Cubs franchise. GO CUBS GO!!!

this is really great - I started messing around with knights rosters last night and glancing back and forth between the screen and my baseball magazine - that would have taken forever - thanks for all your hard work on this one, kudos to knight and team - I appreciate everyone's efforts
