Thanks for the rosters, they are the best to date and have really revitalized the game for me.

To get rid of the FA glitch, play with manual control of all 30 teams and set everything to auto except training for the cpu teams. You have to sim the ammy and rule 5 drafts, but at least you can play for years on end.

I've started franchises using the 6/14 roster before and the FA glitch is eliminated, without having to control all 30 teams. I just thought that since this roster set was based on the 6/14 roster, the FA glitch would be nonexistent also. Anyone else have some insight on this?

When you add CAPS you are introducing 30 plus more A potential players into the mix, which in turn causes the problem. What I did was just edit the existing minor leaguers since in the past we only had a few A potential players anyway. When I took my roster I made, and introduced CAPS for drafted players(I did it as a test, the problem cropped up.)

So doing 30 team control and putting all training on manual, and allowing no training to take place fixes the fa glitch? If so, is the progression, for players still believable?

So Tabarnes you are saying that when creating players that is when the FA glitch arises ? I have not started my franchise yet so I would like to makes sure all is right before I start. If this is the case I feel bad for all the long hours roster makers have put in this year.

Now I am hearing that turning training to manual for all teams and not training takes away the glitch. If this fixes this that would be great because that means all rosters will work.

These rosters are awesome. They still need some tweaking so if he needs some help doing things like pitch edits or rerating then I'm probably game.

Actually I was saying that Jimmy Foxx is the correct batting stance for Nick Swisher. Nick Swisher changed his batting stance from the one he used to use, because he felt that too much motion in the batter's box was hindering his hitting skills. He now uses the same batting stance in real life as the game has for Jimmy Foxx. (basically keeping his bat on his shoulder with no movement)
