Re: 2011 Atlanta Braves Edits

does anyone have any idea what glasses do you need to equip so heyward wears them when he bats as well as in the field on afternnon games? for example when jimmy rollins bats he always wears shades on day games and i noticed when heyward bats on sunday day games he wears shades batting and fielding. im having a tough time getting the right combination in the equipment editor screen..it never shows him modeling shades when you get to the helment style like it does with jimmy rollins.

and i noticed someone had away shoe edits..do you have to adjust that everytime you go on the road?

Mike Minor needs some serious work. #1 his motion is over the top not 3/4, second he throws a curveball and does not throw a 2 seamer according to pitch FX. As far as pitching motion I was looking at Pelfrey, cant be Liriano thats a 3/4 delivery. Any ideas ?

Re: 2011 Atlanta Braves Edits

Mike Minor had an excellent two-seam fastball working for him yesterday. One example of this pitch is the pitch that he struck Cody Ross out on for his ninth strikeout. Pitch f/x clearly shows this, as well. You have to look at the movement graphs and not what pitches are labeled.

He does throw a curveball, his changeup should be a circle-change and his actual two-seam fastball moves like a running fastball does on The Show. A two-seam fastball will not properly replicate this pitch, so you would have to assign a running fastball with a break rating somewhere around 82-85.

As far as the pitch ratings for The Show goes, yes.

He has average control on his changeup and there's not much movement on it most of he time. When he does get a decent amount of movement on it, the pitch seems to break more laterally than anyone else's changeup in the majors and The Show can not replicate that.

If you want to replicate his changeup that really moves from time to time, you might want to give him a circle-change with about 75-78 on it, but it still won't be accurate because of the way the pitch moves.

With that being said, a great changeup in real life is all about arm speed and that is something that the game does factor is when rating a changeup.
