For sure. I think a C is what I'll go with for him.

Re: 2013 OSFM: Atlanta Braves

so from looking around the web it seems the Braves line up will most of the time look something like this.

Simmons R
Heyward L
J. Upton R
BJ Upton R
McCann L
Freeman L
Uggla R
Johnson R / Francisco L

Nice to see some mixture of right and left handed hitters. Also I assume Gonzalez will play either Johnson or Francisco depending on the pitcher or whoever is hot at the moment. What do you guys think?

I think either McCann or Freeman will bat cleanup (Freeman most likely IMO) with BJ splitting the two lefties. So instead of it being BJ, McCann, Freeman I think it will look more like Freeman, BJ, McCann.

Other than that it looks good. I've seen people talking about a Johnson/Fransisco platoon but I don't see the need, his splits against righties (.295/.338/.481) are actually better than against lefties (.245/.298/.374). So I'm hoping CJ will be the every day 3rd baseman.

I'm going to try to update the OP tonight after class with more prospects and a projected depth chart for AAA and AA. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

eh, i could make a case for JTerd to be a C+/B. Yes, he did struggle mightily in AAA, but that was a pretty big jump for him and he was also trying to play out of position (which is pretty much anywhere for him outside of 1b, so he'll most likely get traded if he can't stick in the OF). Once he moved back to AA, which is probably where he should have started the season, he hit the ball well. check out the link below and read Talking Chop's read on him...i think it's pretty accurate.

Updated the OP. I looked for the AA and AAA depth charts but don't think they were very recent.

Yeah I helped last year, and as long as work/life allows, I'm up for helping again this year. I think Francisco will get a good bit of starts as long as he continues to hit well, defense is a liability with him or CJ.

Bethancourt should be a bit higher I'd think, definitely a B.

That'd be great. I'm gonna try to do as much as I can with work/school.

I meant to put Bethancourt as just a B-. There's a good chance he'll never be able to hit effectively so I just didn't want to overvalue him. I don't have the final word or anything so if more people want him at a B that's perfectly fine with me.
