I like the strategy of warming up your pitchers if your starter begins to struggle.
With it off is the relieve pitcher always ready to go into the game when called upon?
Warmup pitchers doesn't have to do with bullpen, it just means that you can throw warmup pitches with your starter to start the game, and throw warmup pitches when you change pitchers(so if your pitchers bullpen stamina is only hall full, after the warmup pitches, they might end up being 3/4 full).

I don't really use it, I like to just have my bullpen guy warm up completely in the bullpen and then put him in, instead of me having to warm him up myself.

And what's the main diff from veteran and all star pitching? Cause seems like lots of people are using it, and I know for veteran pitching, I throw alot of strikes, but I also give up an average amount of runs/hits, so I don't want to switch to all star to throw more balls, when the AI will end up getting more runs/hits as well.

With runner windows off, is there no other way to look at runners at first and 3rd and while they are running or trying to steal?

EDIT: okay nvm, just found out windows will appear during baserunning but not pre-pitch

Authentic even just dropping both Human and CPU Power and Solid Hits, there are way too many hits by the CPU that aren't groundouts or flyballs. They seem to hit them perfectly in the holes in the outfield.

But you've raised the numbers up? I was already thinking of dropping CPU solid hits to 3 instead of 4 because it's unrealistic that they hit them in outfield holes so much.

I mean I'm talking I had scrub hitters on the CPU team, hitting balls out of the zone for Doubles alot. Pretty ridiculous.

Guys, for those of you who are struggling with hitting, try raising timing a little bit. Hitting is tough this year. You really have to pick your pitches.

Also, fielding is something I am working on. Usually setting those to either 6 or 7 seems to be about right every year. I am going to test a little bit. Thanks hero's for providing a 5-6 game stat. Two errors in 5 games isn't terrible, ideally I'd like to see closer to 5 but 2 is a start. If you guys want, to test and make sure it doesn't cause an extreme effect, let's bump both fielding and throwing errors up to 6. See how that works for you guys and report back.

Also, an update on the Vita version. Do any of you with the Vita feel like the pitch speed is too high on 5?

I hear you. I was very cautious about turning that down a lot because of the new ball physics. I don't want to take away the aspect of hitting the ball through the infield on the ground. I'll continue to test and see what comes out of it. Thanks for the input, this seems to pretty much be the consensus. That might be lowered here really soon.

Regarding the pitch speed on the Vita? Yes, yes, and yes.

I'm still on Default on the PS3 version, but on the Vita...I'm guessing at least a couple clicks slower.

As far as errors go, keep in mind I use Auto everything for fielding. 3 errors over my last 3 games though. I'll post back after I have 10 franchise games completed (in Spring Training, by the way. And yes I realize that will make my stats less reliable for multiple reasons).

I'm on Default AS with Timing and Pulse, by the way.

I have found at least in last years game when using "auto fielding" that the errors increase to a respectable amount.

Some people will most likely not want to use auto fielding but it does add a different dynamic to the game and while some players might not like the feeling of not being in control of how there D is playing I have found it to be quite interesting myself.
