What did you adjust?

And how many clicks?

You NEVER wanna adjust more than 1 or 2 sliders and no more than 1 click.....then play 5 to 10 games to get a true feel fr the adjustment.....it takes time to hone it in but it's necessary

I moved the user contact from 7 to 5. I also moved the cpu contact from whatever it was to 5. The other thing I did was move foul frequency to 4 for both user/cpu.

I'm going to, but I wasn't encouraged by what I've experienced with these sliders so far. I'm starting to think it isn't the sliders but actually the game itself.

Re: TNK - 2013 REALISM SLIDERS

Still really liking these sliders. I started a Jay franchise with bedward's rosters and have had some amazing games. I use meter pitching and zone hitting and was shutout by Lester the other day on a 2 hit gem, but then beat Bucholz 9-2 on a gem by Dickey. Had Johnson pitch a perfect game into the 8th and then with 1 out he threw a hanging curveball that Adam Jones hit a mile. Ended up losing 3-2 when Delabar gave up a 2 run blast to Wieters in the 9th.

Someone asked about the hybrid rosters and I really found that they did not mix well with these sliders. They are great rosters, just not for TNK sliders, but bedward's work really well.

Thanks again TNK for making these great rosters.

I'm with speels, still loving these sliders. managed to squeeze in two games today, one was a back and forth slugfest with the Brewers where i hit three homeruns, the next was a nail biter that went 0-0 until i lost it in the 13th with hits at a premium.

TNK - BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE

Game #31 of the Season – Boston Red Sox @ Texas Rangers

Pitching Matchup – Jon Lester vs Yu Darvish

The Red Sox look to extend their winning streak to 7 games as they send Jon Lester to the mound against Yu Darvish in a big time pitching matchup in Game 2 of this 3 game series.

The Rangers manufactured a run in the bottom of the 1st and Yu Darvish was off to a great start as he was perfect through 3 innings as the Rangers had a 1-0 lead entering the 4th inning. Darvish hit Ellsbury with a pitch in the top of the 4th and then David Ortiz took an outside fastball to the opposite field for a 2-run HR that just cleared the wall to give Boston a 2-1 lead. Texas loaded the bases with nobody out in the bottom of the 4th and Ian Kinsler delivered a single to LF to tie the game at 2-2. Lester came back to strike out Jeff Baker for the 1st out and Elvis Andrus lined out to Drew at short for the 2nd out. Craig Gentry came up with the bases still loaded and Lester got a huge strikeout to end the inning as he escaped the bases loaded jam and gets out of the inning allowing just the 1 run to score and we would go to the 5th inning tied up at 2-2. The Red Sox loaded the bases with two outs in the top of the 6th inning for Mike Carp and Texas manager Ron Washington came out to get Darvish as lefty Robbie Ross came in from the pen to face Mike Carp, Boston manager John Farrell countered by pinch hitting for Carp with Jonny Gomes but he would strike out as Ross gets out of the jam as the Sox leave em loaded and the score remained 2-2. Lester got the 1st two outs in the bottom of the 6th before walking Soto and Jeff baker followed with a double to give Texas runners on 2nd & 3rd with two outs. Elvis Andrus beat out an infield single on a slow roller down the 3rd base line and Soto scored to give the Rangers a 3-2 lead. Craig Gentry grounded to Drew at short but he bobbled the ball for a costly error as Gentry beat the throw to 1st and Baker scored to make it 4-2 as Lester would exit the game after some tough luck and poor defense behind him. Junichi Tazawa got a big strike out of Beltre to end the inning and we would go to the 7th with the Rangers up 4-2. Ross pitched around a leadoff double by Saltalamacchia in the top of the 7th and Tazawa kept Texas off the board in the bottom of the inning to keep it 4-2 heading into the 8th inning. Ross pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 8th as he has been lights out out of the pen for Texas. Alex Wilson came on to pitch the top of the 9th and an error by Middlebrooks cost the Sox big time as Wilson would have been out of the inning and Adrian Beltre crushed a 3-run HR with 2 outs to give the Rangers a 7-3 lead. The Red Sox went quietly in the 9th and the Rangers win 7-2.

* The Red Sox winning streak is snapped at 7 games as they lose 7-2

* The teams have split the 1st two games of the series and will play the rubber match tomorrow as Clay Buchholz takes on Alexi Ogando

* The Red Sox offense could only muster just 5 hits in the game and 2 costly errors by Drew and Middlebrooks led to 4 unearned runs for the Rangers

Re: TNK - 2013 REALISM SLIDERS

TNK - BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE

Game #32 of the Season – Boston Red Sox @ Texas Rangers

Pitching Matchup – Clay Buchholz vs. Alexi Ogando

The Red Sox and Rangers play the finale of this 3 game series after splitting the first two games. Clay Buchholz and Alexi Ogando square off on the mound in a matchup of two righties who are off to strong starts to their season as Buchholz comes in at 4-1 with a 3.05 ERA and Ogando comes in 3-1 with a 3.38 ERA

The Red Sox amassed 9 hits off Alexi Ogando before knocking him out of the game in the top of the 5th and had a 3-0 lead after 6 innings as Clay Buchholz was dealing and held the Rangers to just one hit through 6 innings which was a ball back to the mound that deflected off Buchholz leg and Will Middlebrooks was unable to pick up the ball on the barehanded attempt which resulted in a weak single.

David Ortiz absolutely crushed a 447 foot solo HR to CF off Derek Lowe in the top of the 7th to increase the Sox lead to 4-0. Elvis Andrus reached on a bunt single to begin the bottom of the 7th and David Murphy followed with an RBI double to get the Rangers on the board and cut the Sox lead to 4-1. Nelson Cruz picked up an RBI as Murphy came in to score on a groundball out by Cruz to make it a 4-2 game but Buchholz would strike out Lance Berkman to end the inning and the Red Sox had a 4-2 lead heading in to the 8th inning.

Tanner Scheppers pitched a scoreless top of the 8th to keep the Rangers within striking distance at 4-2. Ian Kinsler doubled off Buchholz with 1 out in the bottom of the 8th and AJ Pierzynski came on as a pinch hitter for Geovany Soto. Pierzynski reached out and blooped a changeup into shallow LF for an RBI single to score Kinsler and make it a 4-3 game. Craig Gentry came on to pinch hit for Martin with 1 out and he was unsuccessful in his bid to bunt for a hit but Pierzynski was able to move into scoring position with two outs. Red Sox manager John Farrell stuck with Buchholz as the Rangers were not hitting him hard at all and his confidence in Buchholz was rewarded as he got Elvis Andrus to chop a changeup back to the mound for the final out of the inning and strand the tying run as we would go to the 9th inning with the Red Sox holding on to a 4-3 lead.

Michael Kirkman came on to pitch the top of the 9th for Texas and Shane Victorino lined a ball into the gap in right center field for his 2nd triple of the game to lead off the inning. The Rangers pulled the infield in and Pedroia grounded out to Beltre for the 1st out as Victorino had to hold at 3rd. David Ortiz was up next and he pounded a ball straight up the middle for a big RBI single to add an insurance run and increase the Boston lead to 5-3. Jason Frasor replaced Kirkman on the mound and Mike Carp welcomed him with a single to give the Sox 2 men on with 1 out. Frasor struck out Middlebrooks for the 2nd out but Daniel Nava lined a single to LF for his 3rd hit of the game but Ortiz was held at 3rd to load the bases with two outs for David Ross who was hitting just .161 on the season and was 1 for 4 in the game. Texas skipper Ron Washington brought in lefty Joe Ortiz to face Ross and John Farrell countered by pinch hitting Jonny Gomes who mashes lefties but has struggled early on in the season. Gomes looked at a couple nice pitches from Ortiz on the corner and finally got a good pitch to hit and he lined a bases clearing double in the gap to drive in 3 runs and blow the game open as Boston took a 8-3 lead.

The Rangers came up for their last at bat trailing by 5 runs as Boston mop up man Clayton Mortensen came on to pitch the bottom of the 9th. David Murphy singled to lead off the inning and Mortensen walked Beltre as he was struggling to locate his pitches and the Rangers had 2 men on with no outs. Nelson Cruz swung at the 1st pitch he saw (stupidly) and popped out to Victorino in shallow RF for the 1st out. Lance Berkman was up next and he ripped an RBI single in to RF to make it 8-4. Mitch Moreland grounded into a fielders choice as Pedroia fielded a grounder and stepped on the bag at 2nd for the sure out as Beltre scored to make it 8-5 and the Rangers were down to their final out. Red Sox closer Andrew Bailey was ready in the pen should another Ranger reach base. Ian Kinsler was up next and he hit the ball hard but it was right at Stephen Drew who caught the line drive for the final out as the Red Sox escape with a 8-5 victory.

THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE GAMES OF MY SEASON THUS FAR

* The Red Sox win the rubber match by a score of 8-5 to take 2 out of 3 from the Rangers in Texas and finish their 6 game road trip with a record of 5-1

* Clay Buchholz pitched a great game as he went 8 strong innings and allowed 3 runs on 5 hits. Buchholz did a great job of using every pitch in his arsenal and mixing his speeds and location causing the Rangers to make a ton of soft contact

* Shane Victorino went 4 for 4 with a single, double, 2 triples and 2 runs scored. This was the best game from Victorino in a Red Sox uniform and raised his average to .297 on the season

* David Ortiz homered for the 2nd straight day and his HR was a 447 foot moon shot to CF

* The Red Sox will return home for a 7 game home stand that begins with a 4 game series against the Minnesota Twins. Ryan Dempster will get the ball in the opener for the Red Sox against Vance Worley for the Twins
