Sounds like Power Pros. They were my Kryptonite.

Batting as pitchers, I'm always trying to hit for power and see what I can come up with. Thankfully I'm not striking out much, seeing that the opposing pitcher seems to sandbag it a bit when he's coming up and lays a good one in for me. The best I've gotten is a double.

I've seen plenty of balls over the OF's head...lined shots that just clear their heads. They take a few steps, put the glove up and just run to play it off the wall. I've also seen deep flies that the OF will play off the wall.

I'm actually going to have to agree with Blzer...I haven't seen a ball go straight over an OF's head without it leaving or hitting the wall.

But then again, how often do you see that IRL? Outside of some shoddy fielding or balls hit to straightaway center, its not often. I can't remember a ball last year that beat Rios/whoever played LF over their heads.

You guys can defend the purpose of this to death, but it doesn't take that much slowing up to catch the ball, and there are quicker crow-hops to get the ball home, too. Must I make a video of myself doing this?

On that same token, I'm having zero success with Howard because of that damn shift!

I think I'm bickering because I haven't won in like 15 straight games!
#1- ive had somewhat a love hate relationship with howard. He will pull the ball between 2nd and first to get a hit but the shift is on so hes out but the next time hes up he hits on in the gap or cranks a homer.

#2- Ok you have to learn how outfield works. How many outs where there (it doesnt matter i nthe game which is sad) When there are 0 or 1 outs the OF shiould slow up i mean even if its that slow because he does nto want to miss it and THATS BAD. If theres two out he should be going faster and regardless I agree that this year it seems like its VERY hard to throw someone out.. or is that just me????

I think outfield throws and catches need to be re-worked...sometimes there are decent animations and sometimes they throw like they are physically challenged....

I think there should be an option to let us watch the runner round the bases after a homerun....sometimes they will show the runner rounding first, second, or third, but not all of them....why not?
