My wife bought me my PS3 when we were still dating. I play it on my 65" DLP HDtv. It's awesome! I'll be buying The Show asap.

It was alot easier convincing her, because gamestop is doing massive trade in value for xbox 360. They took it for $120 with the promotion running this week, plus 3 games at $80 means PS3 is very low priced.

No more mediocre baseball games, She was glad about Blu ray player, added bonus I guess.

You'll love the PS3. I got mine in 07 and I've loved every bit of it. Come to think of it, it took a lot of lawn mowing and saving up to afford it when it was $600.

Ugh... I guess I'm just less of a man than most because this isn't how my marriage works. Oh well, I found a solution with my wife and buying a PS3 should not be a problem now.

Compromising and finding solutions works better for us, rather than saying, "I'll do what I want and you'll take it."

My wife don't really look at the bank account i keep up with it and tell her how much she can spend each week. So the rest can pay the bills. So when my ps3 went out a couple months ago i replaced it with a ps3 slim. She never knew till my nephew came over and said all you got the new ps3 slim. Busted!!!! I just told her i put it on my best buy card and paid it off when we got the taxes.

I bought my own PS3 last year for the Show after clearing it with my wife first. This year she's all for me getting the new Show, since she has seen how much I played and got use out of last years game.
