Trade Deadline Time. I didn't add much but it should improve my team a little bit. Picked up Eric Hinske from ATL to add depth to my bench and added SP Paul Maholm from Pitt. Also signed Carlos Maldonado from the FA list. They replaced Eric Patterson, Dustin Mosely and Rob Johnson respectively. All 3 were sent to AAA Tucson. Unfortunately, the Giants who are 1.5 games behind me added Carlos Lee and Jaime Garcia

I'm trying to get some Waiver claims in and get some decent players.

I agree that players get injured way too much while simulating. In year 2 of my Royals franchise Mike Moustakas, Mike Montgomery, Alcides Escobar and Alex Gordan were all injured at the same time for most of the month of September. I get that injuries happen but I find it a little crazy that four of my best (if not the best) and promising players all get injured at the same time in the middle of a small wild card push.

I also see quite a few young, promising major league players that get injured and retire. Maybe this happens occasionally in real life but still very rare, and I see retirements like this up to twice a season.

I am not a slider guy at all so I don't think ill touch them just yet, although it is quite annoying.

Really debating what to do in my Tigers franchise. I started playing every game but the hope of finishing looks bleak already. I think I might play the next 20 games or so and go from there. Id like to get a couple seasons in . . . But I really like playing every game. . . But I just don't have time!:

Franchise takes too long...I'm gonna make a RTTS CP so I can actually play through my guy's career without having to play 100 games a day.

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I just want to get my franchise started. I want to use Knight's rosters, but I also want all of the starting day injuries to be accurate.

I'm happy spending the time to go through and injure players, but I really can't be bothered setting each team's 25-man roster after spring training. I just don't have the time and I'm happy to go with whatever the CPU suggests for the other 29 teams.

So how do I do this?

I already have Knight's rosters downloaded. Can someone please explain the relevant franchise settings that I need in order to fire it up and get started?

In my franchise with the Cardinals, I'm currently on a 6 game losing streak, I'm 1-7..through the first couple weeks, we can't seem to get on the same page, one day the pitching be good and hitting be off, then the next hitting be good and pitching be bad..OR a fielding error will just end the game for me. Crazy, but I'm having fun. lol
