Also the guess pitch feature is good because judging balls and strikes is harder in the game than it is in real life, the viewpoint is different.

I MISS IT SO MUCH!

It was so fun for me and my friends, guess pitch made it amazingly fun, even if it's not realistic or whatever.

VERY DISAPPOINTED THIS WAS REMOVED

Why would they keep EVERY SINGLE old game mode except for this one?! SCEA, you suck.

I used to use it a lot before I tried to aim for more walks. Let me tell you, one can read pitches and breaks on this game without any 3D magic. It takes time and patience, but when you connect on that hanging curve and drill it through the upper deck, it's an amazing experience.

They removed Guess Pitch location indicator from ROOKIE mode when you guess a pitch type. Me and my friends would always play on ROOKIE hitting and up some of the sliders for this feature. It was a huge reason we loved THE SHOW, to be honest.

Still doesn't give you location when you correctly select the pitch type.

yes, it does! When you guess right, you get that big, red, circle and the corners of the strike zone blink red.
