try classic baserunning. i use it because i have less baserunning blunders with it.

Is there an easy to figure out how classic baserunning works? Will I have to manually control the runners myself the entire game?

for me, classic baserunning is much easier. just use button and D-Pad. if you're not used to it, just try it out for a little while. you'll love it once you get the hang of it

Does anybody know the exact conditions in which the, "You must replace (opposing team's pitcher)" bug that I've read about occurs? Apparently it has something to do with the opposing team bringing in a reliever, but I couldn't find the specifics. I want to make sure I avoid this glitch. (I think it still exists?)

If I start a franchise with 30 team control, can I then edit it to control only one team?

Yes, just have the profile you're using for the other 29 teams have every option (i.e trades, line ups, or whatever you want the cpu control) on cpu instead of user.

Does any one know how to import a player that I created into my free agent pool? It gave me the option to do that, but now I can't find the player. Are you allowed to do this in the middle of the season mode?

You have to replace a player on your roster with the one you downloaded.
You have to do this before you begin your season, it does not work during.
