Of course, they have been forced to always wear white at home since the 2010 season.
Excellent. I'll add these as well.

Wow, the Marlins have worn their gray road uniforms for a whopping 1 out of 11 road games so far. I wonder if it's going to be worth noting on the wiki that they rarely use the gray.

If the home team's alternate jersey is red, orange, or another light color, then the road team can wear their alternate jersey too.

In the A's @ Orioles game tonight, the Orioles were wearing their alternate black uniforms while the A's were wearing their dark green uniforms. I'm surprised that was allowed since their shade of green is so dark, but I guess it's acceptable.

Re: MLB 12: The Show Jersey table

The Cubs' Paul Maholm also uses the blue alternate jersey on the road.

Man, with Dempster on the DL, it's as if the gray road jersey doesn't even exist! Every other pitcher uses the blue alternates! (even Randy Wells, who is replacing Dempster while he's on the DL)

I wonder how many sets of the blue uniforms they even bring with them on the road. Is it possible that one of the other starters will be forced to wear the gray uniforms just because they have a surplus of gray uniforms and less blue? Or does the clubhouse staff arrange in advance to bring mostly blue uniforms because they know that EVERY pitcher on the active roster chooses to wear blue?

Edit: I just went ahead and updated the wiki myself.

Thanks for updating the wiki. That's what it's for.

I don't think it changes travel arrangements at all. There's always a chance that the home team will wear blue (*cough*Brewers) which would force them into gray anyways. They have to prepare for that.

Re: MLB 12: The Show Jersey table

Hmmm, this is interesting. The Marlins played a 4-game wraparound Friday-Monday series this weekend. They wore white on Sunday and are wearing the orange today for the last game of the series. It doesn't seem pitcher-related either because Buehrle started today, and he doesn't normally wear orange. Maybe the team's logic is "wear orange for the last game of the series," which makes sense because they even wore orange on that one Thursday in their last game against the Cubs.

The Marlins won't be back at home until mid-May after today (and they've only even played 3 home series total!), so we won't know what the pattern is for sure, but my money is that orange is meant for the last game of a series rather than having anything to do with Sunday in particular. I think the reason we were told "Sunday" in the article is because the majority of weekend series end on Sundays. They may have just been generalizing.

Agreed. I noticed that today too when I tabulated the jerseys, that they didn't wear orange yesterday.

I actually thought the Blue Jays were doing that too, as they wore blue on Thursday for the last game against Baltimore even though it was a night game. Usually, blue is reserved for day games. Then they did not wear blue on Sunday, but they did on Saturday, even though they usually wear it on weekends...

I might change the Blue Jays if it keeps up for the next few weeks.
