I feel the same way.

Re: Better than the real thing?

I'd watch real MLB games more if the devs add generated counts.

Both. I like to play The Show and have the Cards game on my laptop. If I had to pick I would go with watching a game.

Definitely rather watch the Reds on TV, other teams it would be a toss up.

Re: Better than the real thing?

I'm kind of split. As I live in Ohio, I get stuck with the Indians who I have little desire to watch unless they play Toronto. Also, since I got The Show, I imagine I will be playing it much more than watching any local games. I went with the game this year instead of MLB.TV as well, so it all kind of depends. For now, I'd say play the game, though I have watched quite a bit of spring training on MLB Network, but just not feeling it as much this year. If I end up in Arlington, that might change a bit. I'd watch Texas 9 times out of 10 over Cleveland

Re: Better than the real thing?

Watching a ball game is a real treat. I've lived overseas my entire working life, so seeing games are few and far between. The Show is an excellent substitute, and hopefully I've have enough cash this summer (but probably next summer) to order the MLB TV package. I usually end up listening to the game while I'm playing. A little disconcerting though if I'm listening to the Mets playing someone else though!

I can't help it that it seems Cleveland sports teams are cursed.
