Throwing runners out at first from the outfield?

I know it got fixed in my game.

Carlos Beltran has 6 errors now because I kept trying to throw to first after the patch. Every time I throw, it comes up as a yellow ring, then it pulls my first baseman off the bag, giving him an error.

I never had this happen. I kinda tried to do it, but never thrown anyone out on 1st. Even the CPU never thrown me out at 1st. Btw, I'm playing in Spring Training with the 1.05 patch.

The few times I've tried this I always end up with an E9. I would never even consider doing this in my season however. The FUN of this game to me is realistically re-creating a MLB game/season. If it's unrealistic then it's no fun as far as I'm concerned.

Kinda how it always makes me shake my head when I see people talk about how they dominate their franchise or seasons. I was reading a blog the other day about a guy who's like 55-13 in his franchise. How can this even be fun? I'd much rather struggle around the .500 mark and miss the playoffs as opposed to winning every time I touch the controller. Seems pointless.

Exactly!! I played in wrigley and the rf is about right up the second basemans behind. I don't understand how something can be a problem that wasn't a problem in previous years.

And it has nothing to do with the arm strength. It's a bug.
