Need some House Rules for Season Mode
It's November, baseball is over, and I still can't get enough of this game. I'm doing a Indians franchise now in season mode. I prefer this mode because you don't have to scout and worry about all the off the field stuff. You can just focus on team building. I would really like to do single team control but if you do that no big names make it to Free Agency and that's boring. So I'd like to have some house rules set up when I get to the offseason on who I should have teams resign and who I should let go into Free Agency. In the first offseason I made offers to Type A FA's but let Type B FA's go into Free Agency. Is that the way to go or are there other house rules you should use to make sure a realistic amount of Free Agents are available? I'm not so worried about mirroring real life, I'm willing to make what people would consider unrealistic moves but I want the offseason to be fun. Any advice would be appreciated.
