If pitchers get hit with line drives do they automatically come out? I'm tired of hitting guys in the face and then they continue to keep pitching.

No. With the new hitting engine (or timing adjustment) it felt like there are less balls hit up the middle... although I might've been hallucinating.. We'll see....

They actually shouldn't come out. Pitchers in real life don't come out all the time if they get hit. I think the way they have it now is the only way they can have it.

There are certain situations when they should come out though. I don't know if you've seen the animation, but sometimes a ball hits pitcher's head... (cannot believe such a horrific animation actually made it into the game...

Pitchers shouldn't come out so often, but the game can still tie injuries to whatever happens in the game better IMO.....

Have you guys seen the Kotaku example of this animation? Holy smokes! His RTTS character gets freaking drilled, and right before it happens, this foreshadowing ambulance siren goes off in the background. Then, whamo!!!

That one actually made me cringe. And chuckle a bit too.

Yeah I hit a line drive hitting a pitcher in the head multiple times this year and they never came out. If a guy gets hit in the head they come out. Thats all I ask

Yeah I saw that one as well... but I remember that I actually had this play in one of my own games and thought omg what did I just see... I think I've seen this happening twice in my own games.

One animation along this line that hasn't made it in, is to someone taking it in his nuts..... but I understand the devs thinking that they don't wish that to happen on anyone, even on a computer generated player.... hahahaha
