Re: Insider video of DD 2.0
The McCutchen cover is at the end of the video. I will also say that I like the new Capitol Field. -

I meant to post a pic of that! It looks about as much as I figured it would.Attached FilesComment

Re: Insider video of DD 2.0
I really liked seeing the across the board gameplay additions like how transparent bunting works and that sneak peak at the new guess pitching.Comment

Re: Insider video of DD 2.0
Not gonna lie, Nick sounds like he is stoned out of his mind lol
Anyone notice any goodies? Too lazy to look for them myself...
Edit:
Well, I decided to look through the vid again... There are a couple of things that stood out to me:
1. The new PCI covers a good chunk off the plate. The underlying feature here is that it should be much easier to make solid contact on pitches thrown outside the zone
2. Assuming the game is being played with default sliders, pitch speed looks pretty slow, and that curveball was a lollipop curve, aka a bad one. Hopefully the spin tightens up with an increase in speed and/or movement...
3. Piggybacking on #2, the ball leaving the pitcher's hand and the subsequent follow-through looks buttery smooth so far
4. Generic 1, the Pillsbury dough boy chest protector, and high stirrups are still in the game
5. The generic players still look a little cartoony to me, although some of it has to do with that hideous uni combo lolLast edited by seanjeezy; 01-16-2013, 09:52 PM.Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

I think the cover is a bit bland... but that was besides the point. Thanks for the video.Detroit Tigers|Detroit Reds Wings|Green Bay PackersComment

He's one of the most laid back guys......but when he's talking about his ideas and the game...he's pretty intense about it!(not in the vid though....ha...it doesn't come through there)

Re: Insider video of DD 2.0
Where was the bat at on that bunt? Hopefully the bat is not gonna disappear like that when bunting..Comment

Re: Insider video of DD 2.0
This was added so the user will actually be able to see the pitch to determine if it's a ball or strike. I am not sure if this will be able to be turned on or off. I for one am happy for the change because so many times I just left my bat out there and hoped to make contact because I could not see the pitch.Comment

Re: Insider video of DD 2.0
I understand that but the bat disappearing is not very realistic looks very odd n hopefully they didn't take out the old version. Maybe on next gen consoles we will be able to move around the hitter inside the batters box it will make it easier to pull the bat back n see the ball better.Last edited by OUSOONERS#1; 01-16-2013, 09:56 PM.Comment

Re: Insider video of DD 2.0
I see they improved the end of game hand shakes with team mates
Notice how the catcher is not wearing any cap or helmet anymore and you can now see his hair
I have requested this small change and Sony has come though for me
And I like that you can now see the home team come out of the dugout and take the field before the first pitch.
For anyone here who says Sony does not listen to your feedback is just dead wrong!Last edited by tnixen; 01-16-2013, 10:38 PM.Comment
