The trade is essentially Jennings+ for TDA. You familiar with DIPS, FIP, xFIP, that whole thing? Hellickson ERA/FIP/xFIP slashline: 3.15/4.45/4.46. 1.16 HR/9. 2.01 K/BB. He's not actually that great.

He's a good back end guy, but his ERA luck is gonna run out eventually.

When you say upgrade at SS, who might you have in mind? Lombar is batting .220 and Elliot is at around .301 right now which I thought was the upgrade, but if theres someone better please let me know! haha
In that case, keep Elliot at 2B and bench Lombar, but get rid of Rosales lol.

If you wanna make a huge splash, there's always Tulo. Maybe Jhonny Peralta as a solid pickup. Jimmy Rollins if the Phils are out of it.

If I were you, though, I'd be looking into a Milone+ for Asdrubal Cabrera trade.

Any ideas on getting some front line pitching for the Twins. My rotation is a disaster, and I could use a decent arm for the pen as well. I could definitely spare one of my better bats at this point with the bizarre emergence of Aaron Hicks

I like the Griffin for Morneau trade mentioned previously.

For Stanton? Taveras, Wacha, Rosenthal, Carlos Martinez and possibly another low B prospect[/quote]

Wow! This is a great deal for the fish! Will definitely do it to give more depth to the team...

Playing as the Red Sox. Trade deadline 2014, we're barely ahead of the Rays, so I needed some umph. Enter Giancarlo Stanton.

Boston Red Sox receive:
Giancarlo Stanton/RF
David Dahl/CF
Brad Hand/SP

Miami Marlins receive:
Jacoby Ellsbury/CF
Rubby De La Rose/SP
Manuel Pulido/1B (Generic CPU generated play with an A pot)

I know I fleeced them. Anyways, how do you add more than three slots to a trade? I wanted to give them 2-3 more A prospects, but I couldn't.

I don't think the Marlins would want Ellsbury over a prospect. I also don't think you could fairly get Dahl in return. For more spots, you have to do 2 separate trades.

Yes I am familiar with that. I just don't see the Rays trading him ATM. I'm not saying he's ace type but he's behind Price and Moore. Plus TDA has the injury concerns and while the Rays do need a catcher, they seem content with Jose Molina and they're really high on Jennings.
