Hmm. We're already giving you Alford, who's tools are off the charts..

Moises Sierra is a good athlete and a strong runner. He hit well as a rookie who got promoted before he was due.

Gustavo Pierre is the 3B version of Sierra, but in High-A. I'm not sure if he'll be in OSFM, but I may even have some video of him from my trip out to Lansing last year.

Matt Dean is the 3B version of Jacob Anderson. Great athlete, plus tools, bad year last year.

Kenan Balli had a superb year across three different levels last year.

We like Dean but with a slew of bats coming up and with a Cuthbert and Moose battle likely in the future, I'd rather not add fuel to the fire so we're going to go with the toolsy Moises Sierra who should hopefully get some more seasoning at AAA and then replace Frenchy.

Good to hear. So, to review, we are offering you one of two deals, depending on the direction you feel your team is in.

Deal 1; Contending
Spoiler

Deal 2; Rebuilding

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Thread 2013 Edition

I'm more of a trade thread guy but I'll be willing to fill in and participate when needed. I can be PM'd at any time. Of the systems I know the best, the White Sox and Rox don't have reps for as of yet. AC, give it some time to see if either of them get a rep before putting my name in because I'm not sure either team is popular enough to get one and I guess I can only do one. Anyways...

RE: Negotiations involving Chris Capuano

Technically, I'm still playing 2012 until OSFMv3 and sliders are ready. I'm using a modified Scott's roster with transactions up to date, so think your present team's IRL rosters.

Being that I can't realistically sign Lohse to a pillow contract in Colorado--that's just silly--or really any free agent arms, ever, I have to acquire via draft or trade. This poor guy Capuano just needs a home and I can offer one. This would be a Spring Training trade which has potential to occur IRL this year.

I know LAD is looking to contend this year, but Capuano's value is not great, he's in his walk year and I doubt I could realistically re-sign him, and given the situation I don't feel that your team has much leverage. However, I'd like to try to offer a useful piece for him. I understand that OF isn't looking too good for you right now though maybe a utility IF piece could be good?

I could offer Charlie Blackmon who is a decent lefty bat and can play corner OF pretty well, or Jonathan Herrera who can play all IF positions save 1B.

We'll go ahead and take Buehrle off your hands. I mean whats 11M right? As much as I like the talent from the Butler deal, he'd leave too much of a void for us to fill while we're competitive.
