Re: Toughest Pitching Deliveries To Hit Against

The ones that really stand out to me are Leo Nunez (whatever his name is now) and Jered Weaver.

Weaver really gives me trouble because his delivery makes his change up undetectable.

Nunez (I forget what his name is now) but his delivery is so annoying. It comes from way up over the top, and it doesn't look like he's actually throwing it; it's like it just comes out of his wrist or something. Hard to describe.

Basically any submarine pitcher. I usually just give up and cry when they come in the game. Then try my best to lay off every pitch since they seem to only throw junk.

I can usually hit off sidearm guys, and I've had success against guys like O'Day, but most of the time I don't. The trick, for me at least, is knowing that whatever is low is going to stay low and anything that starts in the middle is likely going to break hard out of the strike zone (speaking of the inevitable slider). What's really mean is when they feature a two-seamer that can dart back in on same-side hitters. That's really unfair. haha

For me it's Josh Johnson this year. He has an incredibly fast wind up, hides the ball decently and then throws a 98 mph fastball. Very hard to hit

sent from the point of no return

Neftali Feliz always seems to get me. He has a slow wind up and man when that fastball comes out it is zoomin!!!!! it doesnt help that his changeup initially look like a fastball but barely registers 75. The funny thing is that Aroldis Chapman is very similar in repetoire. But his wind up must be fast because I kill his fastballs and breaking balls.

He said he does it as a means to hopefully prevent hitters from picking up his pitches.
