Here's to hoping we will get another baseball themed Dualshock controller for the Playstation 4.

I bought one for the PS3 and it was my baby. Once I bought it, I never used another PS3 controller. I would definitely rush out to buy a new PS4 controller if it had baseball patterning on it. Please, please, please get get one out on the market.

I really want coaches to be editable - at least the names and appearances for fake coaches and, most of all, their uniform numbers. Maybe I'm in the minority here but I HATE it when I sign a, say, 3rd base coach who has great stats but then I start the game and see him wearing the number of my star player and nothing I can do about it.

Another cosmetic thing - and this may not even be possible but with the expanded graphics on PS4 maybe - I'd love it if every stadium had a pre-set number of places where they'd put new postseason/World Series banners. Like if you won the World Series in 2016, your stadium would now have a 2016 WS Champions banner to go along with the ones that were already there, you'd always have it there for years going forward. Always kinda sucked to put together a dynasty but it's all but forgotten about by the next year.

To go along with that, I'd love it if each team's retired numbers were locked for use and the ability to retire more numbers (within reason). You'll invariably see the Yankees trotting out there with new players wearing retired numbers. In stadiums where they display the retired numbers on the wall, I'd love to be able to have newly retired numbers show up there. Again it just adds to the immersion and makes you feel like time really has passed.

I agree with everything you said here...would be great for sure(especially coaches)....
I'm pretty sure the retired #'s are still locked unless you give them to a player though.

Seeing new post season banners would be pretty cool.

I played the "MLB 13 The Show" All Star Game last night and while it was a good game, it would be so much better if the players were wearing their own team uniforms versus wearing all the same NL or AL uniforms.

Has anyone ever did the "fast-sim" option I believe it's called ? If you check the pitch count after fast simming like 8 innings, it can be at like 130 pitches for an average starter & his energy won't be completely drained ?!?!?!?!

You can give a player the retired number but it will not show on his uniform.

Something I really want that may not be too hard to implement is the ability to have a franchise start synced up with the real-life calendar and MLB standings, much like what is available from NBA 2K. Say that I start a franchise on June 2nd and the Braves are 4 games up on the Nats. When I start a franchise I'd be given the option to begin on June 2nd with the Braves 4 games up on the Nats (of course all the other standings would be intact).

Sorry if either of these have already been mentioned:

Batting Practice uniforms during pre-game warm up, I think that would be really neat.

Also, in Franchise the ability to search the player database for specific types of players. For instance, say I wanted a left-hand power bat that could play right field and was younger than 28-years old. Putting that into the database would spit out all matches and I could either select to trade for one of these players or negotiate a contract. Think that would be really neat!
