MLB 14 Companion app

With just about every game on the PS4 having a companion app, I'm wondering what features will be available if The Show includes one.

It would be a great to warm up pitchers, make lineup changes, etc. I think these are most likely to be included. Hopefully we can manage our franchises in the app as well. Maybe even edit and create players.

What else would people like to see if the Show has a companion app?

I'm bumping this just to see if there is more interest in this now...back in November not a lot of people were following these threads.

I do appreciate the funny sarcastic response that I did get though haha.

For those MoM guys...I would think the app control would be ideal. I would personally hope we can do more roster management stuff with it than in game stuff.

Nailed it dude. That would be awesome! How cool would it be if you were accessing your bullpen on your app or vita and the game on the tv cuts to the pitching coach calling the bullpen? And once you select your pitchers to warm up, they stand up and move to the mound. All in real time.

That's what the cross functionality of devices offer. We could manage our teams in real time without accessing pause menus and such and get all the information we want without slowing the game down.

Absolutely love that breakdown you have and I have no idea how I never saw that before. I definitely hope SCEA incorporate those ideas. Very cool and well done.

It would be cool to check hot/cold zones and other stats against hitter/pitchers with an app
