PS3 LOVE?

Since I'm a huge baseball fan, I wanna play the show this year, but I have way to much invested in the other system.

I wanna still play the show so I have been thinking of picking up a used PS3 so I can play the show, does anyone still play on the P3?? And if I get a PS3 and the show, will I be missing out from the ps4 that much ???

I do, mainly because I don't have sufficient disposable income to shell out $350 for a PS4, $xxx for an HDTV and $60 for The Show. Therefore, at some point after it is released, I'll fork over 40 bucks for the PS3 version.

I'm not making the jump to PS4 due to the huge lack of quality exclusive games as I own a gaming PC. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have PS4+The Show 16, I can spend the money and buy it but it just doesn't feel right to me. I'm also not largely impressed with the graphics, the game was already beautiful on PS3 and it just benefits from higher/faster RAM, AA and higher resolution in the CG system. Gameplay wise there are definitely improvements here and there but The Show 15 on PS3 is absolutely phenomenal imo.

Well I made my purchase of $100 on ebay for a slightly used PS3. Now I can play a baseball game this year. I'm happy period end.


What are the differences between the PS3 and PS4 version?

the graphics and that's it. i played 15 and 14 on ps4 and graphics are nice but i missed the ps3 controller. mlb the show is great game on any system but the ps4 controller is a deal breaker for me. it's too hard to make precise movements and im an analog pitcher and fielder and i just wanted to be able move my fielders in a fluent way. the ps4 controller is so jolty and touchy it's just annoying. i was playing the ps2 version this summer and i learned to appreciate just how great this game is and i just upgraded to a ps3 again and i am happier than when i spent over 600 bucks on the ps4, game, tv, playstation plus, etc.

I have a PS3, and pre-ordered the game...I love playing the HR derby online against others, as that's the only mode I beat people in.....lol

Is Show 16 going to be digital only or will there be a physical disc as well?
