SBFM(OS) roster discussion
SBFM(OS) roster
When the roster is released u will find it in the vault under
SBFM OS v1- will have all original scea guys and all the updates.
Or
SBFM OS v1pro- same thing with a couple scea guys modified to have realistic faces(they will lose past stats but I will try to get their service time as close as possible to real life)----- pending I have time to do this one.
Rosters will be under the psn name of
OaT_m3aL--
-big thanks to scott he has been a huge help to the roster creation. Transactions, pos changes, number changes, putting guys in the correct league, ratings calculatings for speeds in the minors, and much more.
-thanks to MJHSpanda for helping me with some facial edits
- thanks to bbush for allowing me to use his prospects from the draft this year.
-Want to thank knight for his great minor league base
-want to thank cra for helping me work on calculators for my formulas based on steamers projected stats. Also helping put in ratings.
- want to thank the game for working on the calcs.
- want to thank authentic for working on sliders and helping with various things and testing.
- want to thank ilstu for Rerating the minors based on farm strengths and scouting grades.
- thanks to the numerous ammount of people who have posted info such as number changes and helped with equip edits.. Couldn't of done this without u guys!
- thanks to stat dude for making some awesome edits to pitch motions and batting stances!
-And also SeanJeezy for his amazing pitch edit info on most players.
FAQs
-when wil the roster be ready?
Things are taking time to perfect. It won't b too mych longer we are at the home stretch.
-where can I find this in the vault or the most up to date version?
This is the first version. I had worked on previous versions but they were very amateur to what this is.. When the time comes u will find this in the vault under SBFM OS vs 1.0 under psn OaT_m3aL--
-what makes this different than OSFM?? Or hybrid?
Both great rosters. The thing that sets this apart from mainly osfm is updated rosters based off steamers updated projections with weighted stats of previous years.. Updated transactions, over 1,500 facial modifications of scea players that were editable and minor league players, updated minor league ratings weighted off 3 years, missing top 20 prospects for every team added in. First and 2nd rd draft picks added in(ones that did not sign removed), pitch edits for every player jeezy had. Batting stance and pitch motion edits, updated potentials for prospects for the mid season top 50. Free agents updated retired players removed, international free agents added, updated faces and ratings for some free agents, much much more!
- why is blah blah throwing a rfb he throws a 4 seam!!!!'
Pitches are based off metrics of hoe the ball moves so he might say he throws a 4 seam but it moves like a rfb.. Might call it a sinker but it moves like a 2 seamer.
- what is blahblah rated??
You will find out in a short time! Lol
- hey guys I would love to help out what can I do?
At this point in time I have all the help I need. When the time comes I might need more I will let ppl know.
- blah blah is one of the leading base stealers this year why does he not have more speed!!
Base stealing does not mean a guy is super fast.. Some guys are very good at stealing they have instincts to know they can make the base..Yadi Molina can walk a stolen base at times doesn't mean he's getting 80 speed he's just a smart ball player.
- whys hasn't the percentage moved on the front page this would make things more clear for ppl?
Doing the best I can guys.. I'm only one person. Scott has helped a lot but I'm still very busy finishing this. I try to update it when something is completed not when one guy is updated..
What can you expect.
- full facial edits for every single player on the game that is editable if they need it.
- full equipment edits for every single player.
- transactions and position changes.
- ratings tweaks to mlb players (streamers updated info to calculate)
- pitch edits for every player I can find info on.(Sean jeezy's and the rest using streamers updated)
- minor leagues ratings and potentials updates using mlb.com and minor league ball.
- possible defensive ratings edits if I can find enough info or get enough feedback on players that need to go down or up.
The goal of this roster is to make the most realistic looking roster with the most realistic ratings...
If anyone has input on anything please provide me information and I will look into it.
Note: these rosters will be updated ratings for 2014.. Guys that deserve bumps have them guys that deserve downgrades will have them.. Unfortunately scea players are not editable so I cant change facial hair etc on some of these guys. I possibly could create a new version of them but I am almost positive u cant remove an scea pro player.
