This was a tough one as I blew a 3-0 lead and Bobby Grich broke our hearts in the ninth with a solo homer off Jim Willoughby. Yaz led the way going 3-4 with a three run homer and Doyle and Burleson were both 2-5 with a run scored apiece. Luis Tiant went 7 strong innings giving up 8 hits and 2 ER. I was sloppy in the field as the Angels scored two unearned runs.

When do you estimate the roster will be complete and are these season mode only, if a person choses to play multipke years. I sincerely thank you for all your efforts.

They will be ready by month's end if all goes well, Hopi. Life tends to get in the way now and then, but that's my deadline so to speak. I'll then get a set ready for the Early 70's. These are 25 man rosters for season mode only. Look forward to taking the season file through to MLB 15

Only played two games and haven't been simming due to the fact I'm still working on the rosters themselves. The ratings are lower than the norm but doncropper, who is also using the same ratings for his 60s teams, who is a CPU vs CPU player says they look good. As has been mentioned in the thread, all ratings are from JTommy's RBU. Try the playoff set yourself to test. Enjoy!

Another tough one at the Fens. Blew another lead after Wise gave me 6 solid innings. Had Dave Frost on the ropes in the fourth but couldn't put him away. Still fiddling with sliders as this game was an even better feel. My adjustments are in brackets a few posts back.

Soooo my slider adjustments really helped as the first game above, it seemed that everything was being hit right at players with weak contact and a lot of lazy fly balls. I thought Game 1 was never going to end. The Mets tied it up in the bottom of the ninth as Tekulve blew the save thanks to a two out RBI single by Ed Kranepool. Then Willie Stargell's RBI single in the 15th ended the marathon.

The second game displayed much more dynamic contact as I think I now found the sweet spot with the sliders for these rosters. Jerry Grote had 3 RBI, all on singles and John Milner chipped in with a solo shot and an RBI double. Jon Matlack went the distance in a 103 pitch shutout walking one and striking out 5. I saw doubles off the wall and Milner's homer went out to deep center. Chased Pirates' Bruce Kison after only 3 innings as it felt good to break out the bats.

Re: The Sensational Seventies

Just an FYI > I made a decision on the Rays, Diamondbacks, Marlins, and Rockies. I am going with inaugural teams for each franchise to enable this set to be a fully functional entity. I'll also include them in my Early 70s set as well as bringing forward the late 70s versions of the Jays and Mariners. I hope to get out the Early 70s set sometime in June. When I finish this set, I'll post the teams that will be contained in the Early 70s version on the initial post of this thread.
