Hey Willard, check your PM's when you get a chance. Thanks.

So not to ask a silly question, but what is the backdating that some on here have been talking about? I've searched through the thread and haven't really been able to find an explanation of what this is.

The current rosters cutoff date was somewhere around May 20-25th. When we talk of backdating, we refer to tracking it back to Opening Day in regards to transactions

Any estimate on how long that's gonna take? That's the roster I'm waiting for. And will the backdated version also include the pitch edits?

The idea is to have backdating done after the pitch edits are entered and the roster is released.

NO idea on how long that will take, as the only way i can think to do it is to take the transaction thread and do them in reverse order.

If anyone has any better suggestions, please share them. otherwise, that is the game plan.

Yes it'll include pitch edits and updated contracts. Last year took me around 24-30 hours to backdate and get everything in order. I'm hoping to be able to put in around 2 hours/day on average or more as the backdating will be combined with working full time and handling the wife and two kids

I have spreadsheets set up that lists the transactions and will help me backtrack faster than going from a thread and free text. Helped a lot last year
