Re: Yankees pitchers

I still use his delivery. It's not perfect, but I'm not sure there's anything better than it to use.

Re: Yankees pitchers

Food for thought, I was browsing wind-ups tonight, and I thought that Franklin Morales and Stephen Strarsburg were interesting for Tanaka.

Neither one is perfect, mind you. But they're faster, waist-to-chest hand movements that look similar. Morales even does a little leg kick that reminds me a bit of Tanaka's delivery.

I'm pretty sure I used either Shelby Miller or Julio Teheran last year with the cap we had. Neither is super close, but the hands was about right on Miller and then Teheran had the leg movement.

Mind you, none of these have been game tested. No idea what they look like out of the stretch. Could be awful. Just food for thought.

I ended up testing them a bit today, and I like how they both look. Check it out and let me know what you think. I think I might use the Strasburg one going forward.

I also tried out Deunsing, Francis, Clippard, and Iwakuma. Iwakuma isn't bad, but it's got the extra long leg kick. Clippard is a bit too quick. Francis and Deunsing are very similar, but I think Francis is closer and I'll probably use him for a bit, but I'll try out Strasburg.

Re: Yankees pitchers

I checked out the ones you recommended. Iwamuka obviously had that leg kick, which I'm not a big fan of. If Clipart didn't have that exaggerated arm action, it might've been better. I'm surprised I didn't noticed Dunning and Francis before, but I'm a sucker for hand movements, which is why I'm likely to stick with Strasburg.
