Help with roster transfers

What's up boys, need your help with something real quick.

Didn't see this anywhere but I know it can be done.

I made a collection of rosters (1996, 1997, and 1998) for MLB 14 and thought it was pretty good. My biggest knock on them is the team colors. I never used the right colors and it makes a huge difference. Now with all the license d equipment I want to transfer them from 14 all the way to 15, 16, 17, etc... when all property edited.

I know it can be done, as I've seen someone transfer my 96 and 98 sets to 16, but some of the players were missing and some things were changed I didn't like.

If possible, I would appreciate being told how to go through this. The game on 14 is already a lot better with the right team colors and I imagine having better equipment will only help.
