Question about MLB the show 16 and downloads

I have a PS3 and see all the rosters and such the great guys from OS have created here in the forums and was wondering if the downloads were strictly for PS4 or can you download the same stuff on PS3 as well?

I haven't bought a PS4 nor have I been able to get the show since 14 and was wondering also if it was worth picking up or buying the $19.99 download on PSN?

the rosters in the vault can be downloaed for either the ps3 or ps4.
If I upload a roster into the vault using my ps4,you can download it onto a ps3
and vice versa. back when the vita still had a version, it could be used that same way too

IMO jump at the chance to pick up 16. Granted I didnt play it on ps3, but still.
