In the 86 roster I see some guys that should not be there like Herb Pennock and Stan Bahnsen on Yanks. Is this just an error from kiss's file?

More than likely, there were quite a bit missing from the original file, and I changed alot but missed those. But great find feel free to upload a cleaner version if you find more.

Thats what makes community great, when we all contribute you get better results, for all to enjoy.

Re: List of Classic Seasons & Historical Specialty Rosters MLB The Show

Asking for a lil' help finding a really well-done roster with the best players from 2000-2009 or 2000-2021. The roster should be at minimum a 40 Man Roster.

I have Franchises going with Bostonrob's Spectacular '60s & Sensational '70s, htskr21's Strato-Matic '80s & Ridinrosters' Longball & Legends '90s so now looking to expand to the 2000s.

I've downloaded the 2000s to Now roster from Emone6190, a very good roster but is basically only a 26 man roster set.

Would also enjoy finding a '50s all-time roster but really don't think one of those exists.

Any suggestions appreciated
Don

For MLB the Show 21 on PS5 -

There is a great 1983 40-man roster in the vault, created by BLSRed75. Also a very good 2003 25-man roster created by groovytony91.

Armor, can you please add these to the master list for others - thanks!

Hey StormsWarning

On the 1986 roster, the Kansas City Royals roster is actually the Brewers roster. I haven't had the time to go find where the Royals roster is yet (its not on the Brewers) but how do I go about getting the Brewers roster back on the Brewers team and so on?

The reason those teams are in different slots are because the original author created those teams to be back in there original league division as it was in 1986.

Teams are aligned to there division back then

Milwaukee is in Kansas City Slot

Kansas City is in Houston Slot

Houston is in Milwaukee's Slot

If you want to put those teams back into there original division as the game had them aligned, you will have to go and trade between those teams in the roster, meaning trade each player on those selected teams, on the original roster.

So in example

Your Royals Roster is in Houston Slot, You will have to get, The Royals Roster and trade with Milwaukee Team.

Then trade Milwaukee with Houston

I dont have the time for this, to edit that,, maybe someone else does but thats what you'll need to do.

When I posed the similar question to you, I was praying and praying you had a simple procedure or I was missing a click or something, but no, slog through just like you described, lol.

Yeah, OOTP allows for all of these customizable tweaks to how you want to set up your game, but I sure enjoy seeing it played out with 21st Century animations, but that's just me. I am a nerd that is in the minority wanting to play historic seasons or create dream matchups, so I'll take what I can get.
