Rookie Eligibility

Definition

To be considered a rookie, a player must have entered a season below each of the following thresholds:

• 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues.
• 45 total days on an active Major League roster prior to Sept. 1, when clubs are allowed to expand their rosters from the 25-player limit to include any player on the 40-man roster.

Yep exactly that is why I always go to baseball reference to check that out..

So SDS has to fix up his rookie status. nothing annoys me more glaring then that Rookie tag on non rookies

Is this happening in your franchise or you talking about on roster on main menu?

Roster in the main menu. before I even get to franchise it has the R

I actually have a similar problem with Mikolous for the cardinals... I exported him from another roster and yes he had the correct service time BUT in franchise he comes up as a R next to his name (not a SDS one OSFM from last year)

It was too late already started my franchise but it's going to be glaring and annoying to me lol

That's one of the issues then, for Mokolous probably whoever did him how your transferred him out he was a Rookie. I seen this before when your doing service time sims etc even though the player is past the rookie status if your not careful and export out he will still have the R.

But what I do on my roster project is say SDS as rookies etc I take that roster start a new franchise put them in in AAA then go to roster control then export them out and put on my main roster file. If there on MLB level they will not have the R on the main menu roster this way, but when you start a franchise they probably will.

As far as guys exceeding there rookie status and they still have it dude to SDS that's a head scratch-er.
