Last year the game released April 17 and there was a roster on May 8th. Keep In mind too that last year the roster expanded and all A players were fake which means they probably had to do about 350 CAPS. Im guess this year they made need to only do a quarter of that but...

Here is a post from THEKID24 last year. "Wow, no idea that Ridin and team started over with the Friday's roster update... Crazy they'll have it out this week after starting over."

BUT this is the real important thing. They had a roster out 1 WEEK after the sds update. So maybe this one won't take ONE week but I think a month or "the summer" is way off when it comes to trying to guess when they will release.

That’s what one of the guys that works on the rosters said……

That, but also players (particularly pitchers) in the back half of the top 100, aren't projected as aces or All-Stars and/or generally have a glaring weakness in their game. There's nothing wrong with a top 100 prospect having a 70-something potential.

And yet people think they are going to phase out franchise because people don’t play it. And here we have a whole slew of people who just want a realistic franchise mode. SMH. I love franchise and I even go to the extreme of if a player gets injured irl I go and manually put them on the injured list and don’t use them in my franchise. So glad that added the manual injuries into the mode.

Yes! YES!

Thing that's unique about the show is a guy be a 75 overall and still be really good at something. Maybe he's terrible at defense and can't hit lefties, but he has 70's or 80's contact and power off righties.

The vast majority of minor leaguers should be low C and D players. The majority of big leaguers should be C guys. All star types are in the 80's. There shouldn't be that many A potential guys because you end up having a ridiculous amount of dudes in the 90's later in franchise.
