That, but also players (particularly pitchers) in the back half of the top 100, aren't projected as aces or All-Stars and/or generally have a glaring weakness in their game. There's nothing wrong with a top 100 prospect having a 70-something potential.

And yet people think they are going to phase out franchise because people don’t play it. And here we have a whole slew of people who just want a realistic franchise mode. SMH. I love franchise and I even go to the extreme of if a player gets injured irl I go and manually put them on the injured list and don’t use them in my franchise. So glad that added the manual injuries into the mode.

Yes! YES!

Thing that's unique about the show is a guy be a 75 overall and still be really good at something. Maybe he's terrible at defense and can't hit lefties, but he has 70's or 80's contact and power off righties.

The vast majority of minor leaguers should be low C and D players. The majority of big leaguers should be C guys. All star types are in the 80's. There shouldn't be that many A potential guys because you end up having a ridiculous amount of dudes in the 90's later in franchise.
