A&S - thanks for your sliders. If I’m finding hitting too easy, what would you suggest switching up?

Pitch speed? Difficulty? Contact/power/solid hit slider?

Lower contact to 5

raise Foul Frequency to 4

Increase pitch speeds to 8,9 or 10


So the first thing I would do is simply raise the pitch speed from 7 to 8 and go from there.....if you take it to 10 you are definitely going to be challenged.

If 10 is not doing it for you.....keep it at 10 then lower contact to 5.

Sorry...I don't tune these to meter pitching. It's strictly tested and developed using classic pitching.

However you may want to use my hitting, defensive and baserunning settings and use another slider makers meter pitching settings.

I’ve played 10 games so far in my franchise and the games been playing great. thanks Armor.

day to day franchise is so much better this year with the presentation. I love the storylines too. really rewarding to play every day.

Just got the game today.. first thing I’ll say is WOW!

Gameplay is amazing with these sliders!

The sounds off the bat are the best they’ve ever been.


They really did an amazing job with this years game. So happy and will continue to be a day one purchase for me!

Every year they tout the fact they’ve added “over 700 new fielding animations”. This is the first time, in I don’t know how long, that I actually believe this statement. It’s is incredibly evident, almost every single routine play feels a little different and a little more polished this year.

Even the way they get under routine fly balls feels so much better this year. It’s small details that some people who haven’t played every iteration of the game may not notice, but man does it bring a massive amount of life to the game this year.

@Armor - using 30 team control with everything set to auto for the CPU (but lineups), have you noticed the CPU controlled teams ever resting players or do they roll out the same lineup everyday unless you step in and manually change them?

I am only 10 games into franchise and observing......I will keep my eye on it.

I am also watching very closely how quick of a leesh managers have with starters.

So far contextually it's playing like true modern ball. I am seeing CPU managers hating 3rd time thru the order so what I may do....after a larger sample size is if I see a horse....let's say Paul Skenes for example cruising vs me and we are about to start the 3rd time thru the order and he is tossing a gem....I may lower the Manager Hook down to 4 mid game.

I am thinking this thru....reason being....I am not an analytics driven baseball guy. If I see a guy dominating.....and he is my horse...I let him go if his pitch count warrants it.

I am in observation mode on this "idea" and letting everything play out vs the CPU without any of my interference so I can get a feel for their algorithm.

I will say CPU bullpen usage is vastly improved. Like night and day from previous titles. We finally got a real meaningful logic overhaul on that front.

My only slight concern is starters being pulled a hair too early for my style and taste. But that is modern baseball and I am probably going to let it go....and manage my own team as I see fit.

When it comes to classic roster adjustments....I already have several in mind that will work no doubt. But we a re long ways from Jim Meyers 1985 Full Minors and ATG's 1949 project.
