Re: Sliders, teammates, and Road to the Show.

It has been in the past few versions, I'm not entirely sure when exactly it was implemented. It's completely unrealistic though, and the whole "modifier" aspect of it makes me believe that we aren't playing precisely one difficulty up or down. It doesn't feel right.

Re: Sliders, teammates, and Road to the Show.

Wow! No wonder I am doing so terrible. Pitches seemed so much faster once I bumped up to the big leagues and harder to locate. It makes sense based on the fact that you are facing pitchers with better ratings, but it seemed like too big of a jump. It has gotten to the point that I just sim games against pitchers that are 85+ for now until my player gets better.

I'm new to the game so I suck anyways...I think I might put the difficulty back on dynamic for a bit if it is indeed not affected by this

Thanks for the info, did not know this. I play on HOF 8 pitch speed, and since I got called up I've been struggling like nobody's business

Well this info certainly explains a lot.

I know I'm extremely late to the party, but thank you so much for posting this info. I've been searching online for days trying to find some concrete information about difficulty in RTTS and now I've found it!

I agree, this feature is absolutely horrible. It's pointless. The lower ratings of minor leaguers will already make the game easier than the MLB. No need to add this to make it even easier. It just throws the game out of balance. It's so easy in AA that you get called up too quickly, then once you make it to MLB, your ratings haven't had enough time to increase and you get completely dominated.

Hoping they remove it from future versions of The Show. Thanks again.
