I have been testing these sliders in a Los Angeles Dodgers Franchise. I started the franchise with the OSFM V 1.5 Roster. I am at the All Star Break now. My system for Franchise Mode has always allowed me to play through multiple seasons while keeping some kind of authenticity. I don't play every game so I was super excited for Quick Manage Mode which I use regularly and I am very happy with it, although not perfect.
The System:
I play game 1 of the season.
Then I SIM/QUICK MANAGE through a full turn of the rotation.
- EX: I play through game 1 fully with Kershaw pitching, then I SIM/QUICK MANAGE through the next 5 games. This will land me on my #2 Starter's(Maeda) 2nd Start which I would play in full, and then I repeat the process to start a game with my 3rd Starter, and so on and so forth.
Managing Trades:
Credit to Mike Lowe's slider set because I've found his system to work great over the last few versions on the game. I adjust the Trade Slider based on what time of the year and season it is.

Managing Regression:
I always adjust the older regressing players stats at a specific point in the season which is the day after the Trade Deadline. I usually do this based on performance of the player and track record. The only stats I do not touch are athletic abilities such as Power or Speed.
Since I haven't made it to that point quite yet I don't have any examples but bare with me on that one.
