Hey Mike,

I've heard these sliders will still produce similar outcomes with Directional Hitting (if moved down to HOF level?)

Do you think classic pitching instead of meter will produce similar results and if so, moving to HOF as well?

Thanks,
Dowie

I would think so. The pitching and hitting mechanics don't impact the outcome itself, just the feel of it all.

I am a classic and directional player....yes, these settings work with those interfaces...Pitching - I keep on Legend and move control and consistency to 2. I do not use any aids and go with a clean screen. This produces the 'unintentional' walks we all want replicated as in real life. Hitting - I am on HOF with contact, power and solid hits at default. I lowered foul and timing to 3 to help produce the strikeouts and swings and misses. I am basically using a mix of the two best slider makers in the business.....Mr Armor and Mr Mike Lowe. I am still deciding if I am going to move pitching consistency and control to 1 or 0. I am also watching closely if I need to move human hitting foul and timing down one or two clicks as well. I start my Cubs Franchise tonight and will let these settings go for the first 10 games (twice thru the rotation) before I think of changing anything.

Mike...great sliders. Have you toyed with the idea of moving CPU contact to default? I tried it and noticed a significant drop in CPU swing and misses. I am going to keep it at 4 right now but I was curious if you had considered this change at some point as well.

Yes, this is the top candidate for a slider adjustment. The reason I'm not at the moment is that I'm still getting a realistic % of misses per swing from the AI, even if some of them aren't so pretty looking. I wish we had a 4.5 for that slider!

Maybe a future patch would make up the difference. By the way, not anticipating any issues with patch 1.07 which released today.

I have a little room to improve this by lowering my control and consistency (my settings a cpl posts before this one). I do feel like they are THIS close to as perfect as can be expected.

Not sure for directional, but it's working so well on meter with both at 0, that I'd consider converting
