Just got two games in that didn't feel anything I like, which I love. I just swept the Phillies in Philly, and they come to NY looking for some revenge. 1st game, my 5th starter Joey Luccessi only gives up 2 runs but only goes 4 innings, gave up 8 hits and walked 4 and got to 90 pitches. We win this game 8-2. I had a 7 run third inning. There were 0 homeruns in this game on either side, which I love. I had an awesome 7 run rally with no homeruns in the third and the Phils were checked out after that. I only struck out once, but walked 5 times. I only struck them out twice, but walked them 5 times.

Next game, deGrom vs Nola, MLB network. Both pitchers struggled a bit in the beginning, but deGrom settled down and pitches and completes the 7th inning. He strikes out 9 Phils and walks 1. It was 6-3 at that point. I'm feeling good. Trevor May comes in and gives up 2 in the 8th and I can feel it already. Typical wasted Degrom start. Edwin Diaz comes in the 9th and promptly gives up a grand slam, I lose 9-6. I struck them out 10 times walked them 5 times, and I struck out 5 times, and walked 5 times.

The previous game had 0 home runs, this had 8 combined home runs hahaha, 5 of them by the Phillies. Sitting at 7-4, tied with the Braves for 1st. Loving this right now!

Them darn Phillies can hit! They killed me the two games of three I lost. Bryce Harper especially. Luckily I was able to pull off winning game three to avoid the sweep.

We have our first series vs Yankees in NY next. Nervous to play them but excited for the challenge and chance to take the division lead.

Haha. No. I was mad at myself. I was given the chance to play all night long by the “roommate” but I am up for work every day at 3:30 am and yesterday was a long day in the heat. Those chances don’t come around often. I live the way the game is playing. Pitch speeds at 7/7 are where I’m going to sit for now if I start beating up on teams it just takes 1 click to make hitting more difficult.

I played a game yesterday before the stream as the Rays and played against the astros and I was all over them. Put up 6 runs in the first inning with 10 batters. Second inning added 2 solo home runs to chase the pitcher. Game ended 13-2. That’s the first time I have blown the CPU out and one of the rare times that I am not trying to come back from behind. I’m getting more patient at the plate and it’s rewarding. As long as all the games aren’t 8 run wins.
