I believe Season Two will be in MLB 24 the Show.

On a serious note, this is actually really cool and makes me want to play them and learn more from Bob Kendrick himself (would be cool if others told their personal stories here and there). I'm guessing they have this element show up before you play the storyline itself in some way.

I'm really loving the atmosphere presented by the old school crowds, and I'm guessing they have animations tied specifically to them, or at least removed from some of what you'd see in the regular games (probably not holding signs and waving their arms, etc.).

Now, it says "Season One" at the end. Does that mean they will do more throughout this year, or that Season Two will be the next installment?

Also, trying out my trivia knowledge here... was Crosley Field the first MLB stadium to play a night game?
Yes Crosley Field hosted the first night game in 1935. I believe in May and it was the Reds vs the Phillies

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do these player models look way better then the modern ones?

It is just not fair at all it's like Sony is teasing us how MLB The Show games will look in the future but you are going to have to wait another 10 years to see it in the whole game!

It really sucks to have such better looking player models for only one small mode that a lot of us probably will not even play.

What color should the twilight skies be?

This looks purple to me and is a twilight sky

I have seen a few colors in twilight skies purple,Blue,Orange,Yellow for example.

MLB The Show can definitely do much better with the twilight skies by adding all the above colors too. But purple is sometimes part of a twilight sky.

As cool as the Negro League stuff is, I really feel like it got all of the attention this cycle.

Maybe because this was something Ramone was really interested in

As long as they don’t lock all these new assets into a certain mode, there’s a lot here than can greatly improve historical replay immersion, which is popular amongst the offline crowd (though not everyone’s tea).

A good example is NBA 2k23, where much of the work put into the Jordan challenge was reused in the Eras franchise option.

If these are just 8 short scenarios to play, me and everybody else will play them once and forget about them. That would be a real disservice to the effort to highlight this forgotten era anyway, so here’s hoping it’s more.

I'm actually a bit concerned about this. Here's a direct quote from Ramone in the gameplay feature premiere (timestamp 8:34):

"I know y'all have been asking a lot. You will be able to play as the 8 Negro League legends in other areas. But Storylines is the focus, and everything about the Negro Leagues and these legends are built off of the Storylines mode."

He's being pretty vague here but it kind of sounds to me like he's trying to keep expectations for this stuff in check. He says the 8 players will be able to be used elsewhere, but I'm getting the impression that all the negro league era-specific additions like the uniforms, equipment, crowd models, possibly even the stadiums, might only be accessible in Storylines. Huge bummer if true.
