I have a unique Austrian/Canadien last name
Up to a few years ago I was able to put my last name in the game, Not anymore!

It's pretty obvious why it's blocked. I don't think it's a symptom of a "forever offended society" for a company to preemptively block certain terms for player/team names.

Unconnected from the internet didn't work for me either but what did work still connected was Joe A d c o c k. Spaces between the letters.

Dick does work unconnected but Adcock doesn't. That is so strange, I don't understand it. But thank-you Gamer. And Houston.

The workaround didn't work for me either. I was doing a roster for the 56 Braves with Joe Adcock starting at 1B. Got the inappropriate text message also. What REALLY ticks me off: the Seattle Mariners have a minor league pitcher named Ty "Adcock". The name is ACTUALLY in the game but we are not allowed to use it for a created player. Strangely there is no audio however. Political correctness or a bug? I had to spell the name the name Adcocck to get it close. Otherwise, love the game on PS5.

Because there are jokers out there that will abuse things because it’s supposedly funny the rest of us must pay. Look at the logo vault and the boob logos, even penis logos. How about THOSE people get banned and leave the rest of us alone?

I know that if my kid was playing a video game playing a team called the Boobs with boob logo's and a guy named C*ck with a penis on his hat , I would not be pleased.

This is simply a case where some people ruin the fun for everyone else so I don't blame SDS at all in these instances. Probably easier to just block whatever they can block without spending too much time trying to weed out the culprits.
