It's going to be a tough day in the MLB online/social media community.

Nice addition for inclusiveness but also leaves a lot on the table for tangible improvements to the mode as a whole.

I noticed in the video a Draft Combine clip to potentially replace showcase games which is cool and adds some realism. The showcase games were good in theory but now that MLB has implemented an official combine I'm glad that made its way into the game.

I just envision this taking a chunk out of developers time (secondary character, MLBN podcasts and Boog's in-game scripts) and leaving not much room for other additions the mode desperately needs.

I'm sure this will go well throughout the community /s

I think this is a fantastic addition but unfortunately if the RTTS progression is largely the same (specifically upgrading by unlocking attribute cards) I can't imagine I will play it much. Hopefully they reworked the progression system.

Agree that it's a welcome addition. However, I'm not a RTS the show player so between this and a Derek Jeter story mode, I still have yet to see anything that's got me excited for the game this year.

So yet another storyline passion project? Cool, but I’m genuinely concerned about where they’re focusing their efforts on the future of this game

A fine add for any young woman interested in baseball and video games. Personally I never touch RTTS so it’s not of any interest to me.

Hopefully there is a mention of franchise sometime today as well.

Another gimmick feature in a mode. Yikes. The percentage of people that actually touch this mode at all is going to be low. The people who do decide to play this mode for more than an hour will be insanely low. They can't possibly think this will garner much playtime do they?
