It Occurs to Me - Will We Need the PS3 Version When Upgrading to PS4?

I never had PS+ till the PS4 came out even though I had a Vita, I don't think cloud saves rely on PS+ (I could be wrong, I am assuming till a Dev verifies this as fact) I thought that one of the Devs stated that saves/rosters and such did not need PS+ to "save to the cloud", but I can't find it....

Yes, all I did was hit "save to the cloud" from within the Mode I was playing (RttS/Franchise?Season, etc)

but as far as "Cloud Saves", these are just save slots on SDS servers for the users. Once your file/files are there they can be downloaded to Vita/PS3 and now PS4. I choose to think of the PS4 as another version like the Vita, and from all the comments the Devs said, the PS4 will interact with the other versions just like the Vita version would. When you get the PS4 and load up your mode and chose download from the cloud, it will access that slot you saved your file to and load that file. There is only one place to save and get these files from, it wouldn't change just for the PS4.

You could get a concrete answer (to be 100.1% sure) from one of the guys that have the PS4 version already

I guess the part that confuses me is the part when everybody says "You have one slot."

I need two.

So I guess the real question is, do I get one slot for EACH mode, or one total slot?

I need to make to two cloud saves (RTTS and Franchise) BEFORE trading my PS3 copyright Gamestop and buying the PS4 version.

One per mode. One for Franchise, one for Season, and one for RTTS.

When you attempt to cloud save, you'll never see it ask you to save over a mode other than the one you're playing. They save seperately.

One cloud save slot for each mode... oooppps bcruise with the ninja skills LOL

Can we save multiple RTTS files to a flash drive and copy them to the PS4?

Don't know yet, it depends if the game recognizes the save files or not. The PS4 will recognize a USB for some stuff
