Can anyone explain the secret to NOT making errors with analog fielding?

I never made this many errors with analog fielding but all of a sudden with MLB 14, I'm making way too many. I'm only playing with veteran difficulty and I'm still making a ton. Does anyone have an suggestions on what to do with the analog stick in certain scenarios like a comebacker to the pitcher and grounder in the hole to SS? Any help would be much appreciated.

Keep lowering the difficulty until you get it right. I started on all-star & bumped it down to veteran. I still make throwing errors from time to time, but it's far less frequent. It sounds weird, but when you field a ball stay calm & think about what you're doing & try to be accurate with your push on the stick.

You have to swallow your pride and back down the difficulty and work yourself back up. I had to go down to all star but I am back to HOF.

This. I am not even good enough for HOF. I play everything on all-star, my analog fielding is currently on veteran. It was a kick to the pride stick, but I would rather than than continue to have 4, 5 and 6 throwing errors a game.

One of the Devs has said that on PS4 the sticks are more sensitive.

The PS4 controllers sensitivity algorithm is a different beast from the PS3 dualshock and it had to be re-calibrated for MLB 14. Unfortunately it now seems something was lost in translation going final and the mechanic is more difficulty than it should be.

I'm changing the values for all the difficulty settings for Analog throwing as we speak and these changes will be reflected in the next title update. Until then lower the diffiuclty level.

Leave it! It actually has some nice weight to it now. I know I will lose this battle though.
