They start on Oct. 1st. They start the day after the game.
then the game should reflect that.

Well this is kind of disappointing to hear.

Do teams at least use a four man rotation? To potentially get their ace for games 1,4, and 7?

It's set to a 3 man rotation, so yeah whoever pitches game 1 is able to throw game 4 and 7 as well.

It's kind of unrealistic as they regain their energy quicker than they do during the season. Most teams do use a 4 man rotation in real life, so the game 1 starter would throw again game 5, unless game 4 was a must-win.

Well the game has to give them faster recovery because the game drains their stamina very quick. If you have Cliff Lee and throw 100 pitches in game one, without inflated regeneration Lee would have like 60% stamina because of how fast the game depletes starter's stamina.

But that's the whole point.. if he throws 100 pitches game 1, he shouldn't be fully rested for game 4. In the regular season, a pitcher would not have full energy after 3 days of rest; in the playoffs, they do.

Maybe I'm missing the point here. The game makes it so after each start the pitcher has 100% stamina still?

They make it where each starter is fully rested after 3 days because they default to a 3 man rotation for the playoffs. If you want to have a 4 man rotation, you have to manually fix it before each game starting with game 4.

Well that is kind of lame then. I can't really think of a work around
