Stealing Bases

When I have players on 1st and 2nd and up bat, I want the player on 2nd to go for a steal only but when I try holding triangle then I hit L2... both of my players try to go for a steal when the ball is thrown, how do I only make 2nd base go for 3rd and make 1st base stay ? Please help
