Relievers coming in after simming

There are some games where I will only pitch and sim the half inning when my team comes up to the plate. Is there any way for me to prevent the computer from bringing in a reliever towards the end of the game? I have tried to get 2 guys warming up before simming but even then the computer will bring in a guy who has not been warming up in the bullpen while the 2 guys who I put in the pen are ready to go.

The only thing I can think of is to "step into" the game before the inning ends(or the P is pinch hit for)

I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about but the only options I have are to join the game or to advance to the end of the Sim. What do you mean by the P for pinch hit?

I ever tried tried setting up a reliever so he was scheduled to pitch in the next inning and after I fast forwarded the half inning a different reliever came into the game.

I agree. SCEA needs to fix this. Wow ... MLB 14: The Show is near perfect.

As someone who uses the Sim feature a lot, it needs a lot of work.
