Worth buying the Show right now or wait till 15?

Just bought it on amazon for $20, figured I could get a RTTS season in before 15 comes out

I would get it. With year to year saves, you're basically getting a head start on your '15 franchise. Plus now that the season is over, there are some great rosters in the vault.

I say pick up '14' as it is cheaper and will probably hold you over as '16' may have enough real improvements to make it a worthy purchase.

So far I have not read anything pertaining to actual gameplay improvements / additions making this the year I will probably skip. I actually was disappointed with '14' as it was basically a port over from the PS3.

Well they've hardly announced anything yet. I'd wait a little while before i give up on them. Also I'm sure there are enough upgrades from MLB 15 to 13 or earlier to justify the purchase for the O.P.

The one thing about sports games especially with a long season like baseball is you might burn yourself out. Then when the next one comes out you may not feel like going through another season. At least that what happened to me trying to play 162 games every year lol.

I purposely stop playing baseball during the winter for that exact reason, take a break and then by the time the new game comes around I'm ready to play ball again.

If your plan is to buy MLB 14 and skip (or wait until next December to think about MLB 15) I say just wait and get '15 at launch.

But if you want to get into the swing of things (pun intended) by playing '14 now and will be buying '15 on launch, I say go for it.
