The last 4 years I was living in Spain and getting the game 2 weeks after release date was the norm for me. One year the Navy store didn't even order it and I didn't find out until about a week after the release. This year I've been trying to get my kids jobs at GameStop so I can get the hook up.

3 days early last year! Hoping the guy I got it from last year has it early again! He already told me to call a week ahead, so if I get it early, I'll post that I got it, and anyone who wants info can pm me!

I typically get the game the Thursday/Friday before release. Had a regular spot but not sure if they are still a reliable source (heck of a drive to find out and don't say over phone)

Had a secondary spot but they fell thru the last few times so I'm looking for a new one.

Hope the streak doesn't end...

In 2013 I got my copy 5 days early off of FleaBay for a price, I really enjoyed getting it early but it was costly so I won't be doing that again I will just wait for release day.

In 2008 I was able to get it from Wal-Mart the Friday before release. I saw it laying in a pile of games tucked away in the bottom of a display case. The associate sold it to me no questions asked. Unfortunately, I don't think this would be possible now because they have games labeled "Do Not Sell before XX" and the cash register will not allow them to complete a sale until the release date.

I got MLB 09 the show on the Saturday before release, which was awesome because I didnt have to take a day off to play.

This year I think I am just going to do the midnight download - don't really feel like driving all over the place looking.

I once got it a week early, a friend that was living with me worked at a store and the employer "let them" take games early
